Records

To find Court Records, contact the clerks of the courts, including District County Courts at Law Justices Court, for all court records, including divorce records, criminal cases, Probate, traffic tickets, or lawsuits of any type. To find police records, contact the law enforcement agency of Collin County that made the report.

Land records and much more can be found by contacting the County Clerk for foreclosures, liens, deeds, public notices, marriage licenses, birth and death certificates, and other records. You can also find beer & wine applications, cattle brands, and business registrations at the County Clerk’s office. Look up many of these records under Deed Searches on the County Clerk’s page. The Central Appraisal District stores any property tax appraisal records, and for property taxes, contact the Tax Assessor-Collector.
